Facebook Page

Just wanted everyone to know that I just got the Facebook page up and running. Now you can let everyone know you "like" Just Call Me Mom.

Out of Ink

Ok so I just ran out of color ink the other day and now I can't print anything. Eek no coupons! Anyway, I think that it's a bit suspicious that I ran out of color ink seeing as I only print in black and white. How do you run out of something you never use? Did it dry up...lol. Anyway I ordered some that was an off brand....I'm hoping it isn't horrible. Because I can't afford to keep buying stuff I'm not even using. I wish I had one of those printers from years ago that when you ran out of color you could keep printing until you ran out of black ink. And how does being out of ink affect it's ability to scan things??? I have a Kodak printer and I can't scan anything until I get more ink. Sounds like someone (printer companies) is desperate for money. Oh well. I'm hoping I get it in soon. I wanted to organize some of the recipes I've clipped from magazines but seeing as my printer is being stubborn and won't scan without it's ink I'll just have to wait. Hope you ladies are having a good day :)

Facebook deals

Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up on some of the Facebook things happening.
On Wednesday at 11am CST Skinny Cow Ice Cream will be giving away a "sweet surprise" to the first 700 people to sign up. They won't say what it is but free is always nice. Lots of these giveaways are disappointing because the servers get overloaded but it's worth a shot.
EOS is having a giveaway every Monday until 5/2 of 5000 lotion samples. That makes a total of 20,000 samples being given away. I personally like the way they are doing it too. To make it more fair to those who have trouble getting in on some of the other Facebook offers out there, they have made it kind of into a contest. You enter your email address and then you will be notified if you will receive one.
Also Peeps has posted that they will be re-posting the coupon for chocolate Peeps again soon.
Lately I've had luck with the offers. I got both the Tide 10 pack of stain release and then a sample of Tide with bleach. It's all about being lucky enough to get in at the right time. Well anyway, good luck to all you ladies and have a happy Monday!

Free Sample of Orville Redenbacher Pop Up Bowl

Right now if you head over to Walmart's website http://instoresnow.walmart.com/enhancedrendercontent_ektid96101.aspx you can sign up for a free sample of the new Orville Redenbacher Pop Up Bowl. It sounds like a neat idea. Not having to get a bowl dirty every time I want to give the kids popcorn as a snack. And who could turn down free popcorn :)

Toys R Us Easter Giveaway

Toys R Us is having an Easter Basket giveaway. Go to http://www.toysruseastergiveaway.com/ to register and then build the basket of your child(ren)s dreams. It tells you immediately if you won or not. Pretty neat idea if you ask me. Good luck ladies and happy April Fools Day! Oh and this isn't an April Fools post, it's a real one. What with all the fake posts out there today, thought I should clarify lol :)

$1/1 Toaster Strudel Coupon

Head over to Smartsource to print off a coupon for $1 off of 1 Toaster Strudel. This is a very rare coupon. Normally they are for $0.50/2 or $1/2 so I'd print them now and keep them in your binder for later. I don't expect a great coupon like this to last long so good luck ladies.

Time for the USPS Showcase

Last year the USPS sponsored a free sample mailing that was all the rage. Unfortunately for me I didn't know about it then but I do now. First you need to go to http://www.startsampling.com/showcase/. Sign up and then 5 days from now go back and get your box. Now last year I heard that you had to be female, with 0-3 kids, and make 75k-100k but I'm not for sure. I just filled mine out honestly and am hoping for the best. Last year the boxes contained:
◦Secret Clinical Strength deodorant
◦Aveeno Positively Ageless lotion
◦Aveeno Positively Ageless night cream
◦Shower to Shower Sport body powder
◦Shower to Shower Shimmer Effects body powder
◦Splenda sweetener
◦Aveeno Nourish+ Moisturize shampoo
◦Aveeno Nourish+ Moisturize conditioner
◦Dove peanut butter chocolate bar
◦Two Nescafe Taster’s Choice instant coffee
◦McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Steak marinade
◦Bengay Moist Heat therapy
Quite a nice haul if you ask me. So go and sign up today. Also while you're there there are scrolling freebies at the top. Sign up for as many as those as you'd like as well. :) Have a nice day ladies!
