Busy, busy, busy

Hey there everyone! I know I haven't been keeping the site up-to-date very well. I've actually been working at my fairly new job. You'd think that with 3 days off a week that I would find time to get on here and share my finds with you but I honestly haven't even found time to go shopping...YIKES!!! More than one money maker and passed me by :( but I'm making a mid-year resolution. I need to get on here and go shopping at least once a week and I'm going to make more of an effort to take pictures of what I get. Out of Ink

Ok so I just ran out of color ink the other day and now I can't print anything. Eek no coupons! Anyway, I think that it's a bit suspicious that I ran out of color ink seeing as I only print in black and white. How do you run out of something you never use? Did it dry up...lol. Anyway I ordered some that was an off brand....I'm hoping it isn't horrible. Because I can't afford to keep buying stuff I'm not even using. I wish I had one of those printers from years ago that when you ran out of color you could keep printing until you ran out of black ink. And how does being out of ink affect it's ability to scan things??? I have a Kodak printer and I can't scan anything until I get more ink. Sounds like someone (printer companies) is desperate for money. Oh well. I'm hoping I get it in soon. I wanted to organize some of the recipes I've clipped from magazines but seeing as my printer is being stubborn and won't scan without it's ink I'll just have to wait. Facebook deals

Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up on some of the Facebook things happening.
On Wednesday at 11am CST Skinny Cow Ice Cream will be giving away a "sweet surprise" to the first 700 people to sign up. They won't say what it is but free is always nice. Lots of these giveaways are disappointing because the servers get overloaded but it's worth a shot.
EOS is having a giveaway every Monday until 5/2 of 5000 lotion samples. That makes a total of 20,000 samples being given away. I personally like the way they are doing it too. To make it more fair to those who have trouble getting in on some of the other Facebook offers out there, they have made it kind of into a contest. You enter your email address and then you will be notified if you will receive one.
Also Peeps has posted that they will be re-posting the coupon for chocolate Peeps again soon.

Can you believe it?

Oh my gosh. I can't believe it myself. First of all, we got this new computer and I got it all set up and it has an internal microphone so you can make voice recordings without a plug in microphone. Well anyway, my son was screaming and screaming and finally I decided to record it and show him how bad he was being. Yes a bit advanced for a 19 month old but I was hoping. Well anyway I made a 13 minute recording and then started playing it back. He got quiet immediately and listened to the whole thing. And then, what makes it even better is that he has stayed quiet and happy since. It's amazing what will calm the little guy but hey, I'll do what it takes to keep him quiet when his father and his sister are trying to sleep. Never know maybe this might help you ladies out. Becoming a Krazy Coupon Lady

Ok, so I'm sure all you ladies know how much I LOVE free stuff. I'm constantly signing up. And if I can't use it then I'm sure I know people who can. Now I've found two really great websites that turn you into coupon savvy shoppers. I'm not coupon savvy, well not until I read these sites. I thought that saving a dollar on a $6 item was a great deal but not really. You should see how much these women save and they tell you how to do it too. For instance, I'm going to go shopping at Walgreens and CVS tomorrow and I NEVER do that, EVER. I thought that drugstores had outrageous prices but I couldn't believe what I was seeing on these coupon sites. Wow! I definitely want to be a Krazy Coupon Lady now :) I'm even going to buy a binder and some of those trading card pages they were talking about. New Years Resolution

Well I've finally gotten around to making my new years resolution. I want to live healthier. That means better eating, more exercise, and relaxing when the kids stress me out. I always have a hard time sticking to my resolutions so next month I'm probably going to be back where I started from but fingers crossed I'll be making progress. Another reason I want to live healthier is that my family, especially my mothers side, has heart problems. So what better way to start my resolution than to sign up for the Go Red For Women to get heart healthy recipes and exercise tips. And right now when you sign up you can get a Free Red Dress Pin. Are those eggs OK to eat?

If you're like me then you buy eggs on sale and then let them sit til you decide to make them a week after expiration date. I hate when that happens but with a little help from ReadyMade Magazine my dinner plans can sometimes still work out. In the helpful hints section was a tip to tell if your eggs are good or not. First fill a bowl with water then see if your eggs float. If an egg lies on the bottom on it's side. It's good. If an egg stands on it's end on the bottom then it's good, but needs to be eaten soon or hard boiled. If an egg floats, DO NOT EAT IT. It's definitely bad. Hope all you ladies had a great New Years.
